Hunky Dory still not in the water....

Today we where going to go down to Horning on the boat, but alas the boat is still out of the water. Despit numerous calls and texts to Jon the owner of Wayford Bridge the only response is the phone is switched off. Talked to helpful chaps who offer to put my boat in the water, but they cannot move Jons tractor blocking the slipway.

Rather frustrated, I varnished the wood replaced yesterday and then went to Norfolk Marine for parts, Roys for a cup of tea and off to Wroxham Barns. Mum and Dad arrive at the boat at 14:00 but I can't even offer them tea as the boat is not sitting safely on the trailer.

We decicde to go the galley team rooms in Horning for a late lunch followed by a walk down to Horning Staithe. We then went back to the boat and Dad and I fitted the rudder which Dad had cut down for me. Dad also gave me a box for mounting the pilot seat on which he had made.

We then went off to look at the Stalham Holiday Lodges again. The off to the hotel and out to Carluccios for Dinner. Carluccios was a return visit following an awful meal the last time. Whilst we had trouble with two of the mains, overall the meal was extremely nice.
